Back into the fold came Flicka the wonder-horse (Steve Doyle) and his trusted jockey (been riding him for years) Milo McGinty. Most of the first night was spent wondering whether Flicka would unexpectedly mount one of the other team members, who in an instinctive reaction would feel compelled to piss on Doyle's shoulders. We were only partly disappointed.
Enda failed to appear for the second year, a clear sign of the depth of the recession in Ireland.
